Financial Planning Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Support Specialist to join our offshore team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to financial advisers by handling paraplanning tasks, managing client service processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review Statements of Advice (SoAs), Records of Advice (RoAs) and other compliance-related documents.
  • Manage end-to-end client service processes to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Support financial advisers by handling paraplanning tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update client records in CRM systems.
  • Liaise with product providers and clients to follow up on applications, transactions and outstanding requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian financial services regulations and company policies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to a positive team culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in client services, paraplanning or a similar role in financial planning/wealth management.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning processes and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise confidently with advisers, providers and clients.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software, CRMs and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-driven, proactive and committed to building trust and long-term relationships within the team.
