Your Role:

As a Financial Planner, You Will Be Responsible For

  • Complete Statement of Advice for all clients.
  • Complete Record of Advice for all clients.
  • Support financial planning assistants with non-paraplanning work, including administrative tasks.
  • Follow tasks in XPLAN according to internal process rules.
  • Complete insurance quotes.
  • Complete product comparisons.
  • Undertake administrative duties while learning paraplanning processes, with the expectation to transition to full paraplanning responsibilities once skilled and internal simplified ROA processes are established.

What You Need:

Non-negotiable Requirements

  • Completed some education on Australian Financial Planning to understand how it works (RG146 highly regarded) with at least 2 years' experience working for a financial adviser in a similar role or relevant administrative role.
  • Attention and accuracy to details.
  • Very good communication skills.

Experience:

  • 2+ years' experience as an assistant to an Australian Financial Adviser or in a financial planning administrative role is ESSENTIAL.

Technical Tools Required:

  • XPLAN KNOWLEDGE
  • IPS system within XPLAN is essential
  • WEALTH SOLVER
  • XTOOLS+

  • Experience with:

  • SUPER / PENSION / INVESTMENT

  • TTR and PENSION REFRESH

  • PERSONAL INSURANCE

  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
