Wound Care Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Wound Care Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Reviewer - Wound Care, you will be responsible for managing patient wound care records, verifying insurance eligibility, and coordinating the supply of essential medical materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient wound care records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Verify insurance eligibility for patients, assessing coverage and benefits.
  • Coordinate the supply of essential medical materials, including dressings and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, payers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assess patient wounds, determining treatment options and documenting progress.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Nursing, Medicine, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of clinical wound care experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with Medicare and product guidelines.
