Investment Operations Director

This role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic growth and lead a high-performing team responsible for the end-to-end management of investment operations.

About the Role:

  • As Investment Operations Director, you will be accountable for overseeing the day-to-day business relationship management and services oversight.
  • You will be responsible for escalating and resolving operational service issues promptly.
  • You will ensure work is integrated across teams and meets service level standards while exceeding quality expectations.
  • You will contribute to developing overall procedures and policies.
  • You will leverage expertise in investment products, operational excellence practices, and the transaction/customer lifecycle to develop team capabilities.
  • You will support key transformation strategies and establish credibility with business partners and customers.
  • To ensure customer-centered outcomes, you will manage business relationships and act as a business partner for our service recipients.
  • You will enable feedback channels to align expectations and priorities.
  • You will periodically refresh service level standards and manage achievement of KPIs as defined within Service Level Agreements and Schedule of Services.
  • You will manage and mitigate operational risk, ensuring timely escalation and effective resolution.
  • You will validate accuracy of operational risk heat maps and other risk assessments.
  • You will be accountable for timely closure of audit points.
  • You will deliver timely and effective KPI and KRI reporting, business dashboards, and other metrics as required.
  • You will drive best practice sharing, fostering collaboration, and innovation across teams.
  • You will execute strategic priorities and evolve the service delivery model toward scalability and strategic global business shared service.
  • You will develop capability and functional expertise through training/development, coaching/mentoring, strategic talent management, succession-planning, and supporting mobility.
  • You will ensure adherence to MBPS Governance model and Operating Standards.
  • You will participate in strategic business planning activities and help translate business initiatives.
  • You will be responsible for people management, including hiring, compensation strategy, promotion, performance management, and capability development of direct reports and their subordinate teams.
