Job Title: Investment Head

The Investment Head plays a pivotal role in overseeing the University's financial management strategy. Reporting to the Investment Director, this position is responsible for monitoring current investment portfolios to ensure adherence to established guidelines and risk management protocols.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver periodic performance reports to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Track, record, analyze, and report on portfolio performance metrics.
  • Evaluate benchmarks and individual portfolio returns against set targets.
  • Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies to minimize exposure.
  • Balance liquidity requirements with investment goals and objectives.
  • Ensure accurate data on benchmark and fund performance is maintained.
  • Monitor portfolio managers' adherence to guidelines and instructions issued.
  • Manage credit and investment exposures within approved limits.
  • Analyze portfolio performance versus benchmarks.
  • Prepare written instructions for authorized signatories.
  • Recommend participation in new investments and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Present investment performance to relevant committees and stakeholders.
  • Develop financial models for University plans and projects.
