Acquisitions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisitions Specialist to support our acquisition and finance teams.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Perform financial analysis and underwriting on potential investments, including review of offering memoranda and seller-provided materials such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
- Conduct market research and analysis for investment decision support, preparing high-quality presentation decks and assisting in property-level due diligence, including lease review, rent roll, loan documents, and coordinating with third parties.
- Organize and maintain the acquisition pipeline, providing administrative support to the acquisition and finance teams.
- Collaborate with the executive team, property sellers, brokers, and service providers to ensure effective communication and successful transaction execution.
The acquisitions specialist reports to the managing director and is expected to be a self-starter, comfortable working in a team environment with minimal oversight. A strong foundation in real estate, finance, or accounting is required, along with 2-5 years of experience in asset management, finance, or acquisitions. An MBA degree is highly valued. Proficiency in underwriting and analyzing real estate opportunities, advanced excel modeling skills, and strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
