Cloud Solutions Architect

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design, development and deployment of scalable cloud solutions for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technology and experience in leading teams to drive business transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Architecture & Strategy
    • Define cloud architecture aligned to business goals
    • Lead assessment, migration and modernization strategies to GCP
  • Solution Design & Implementation
    • Design end-to-end cloud-native and hybrid solutions using Google Cloud Platform services
    • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and cost-effective
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate with senior IT leaders and business teams
    • Translate business needs into robust cloud solutions and technical deliverables
  • Governance & Best Practices
    • Establish cloud governance standards and operational best practices
    • Ensure compliance, security and performance optimization across environments
  • Team Leadership & Mentoring
    • Guide development teams on architecture, DevOps and infrastructure automation
    • Mentor junior architects and engineers on cloud adoption and innovation
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of total IT experience, with 5+ years of hands-on GCP architecture experience
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification (active)
  • Deep knowledge of GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, VPC, Cloud Functions, IAM, GKE etc.
  • Strong experience in designing large-scale distributed systems, migration of legacy applications to GCP, infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager etc.) and CI/CD principles
  • Solid understanding of security, networking, identity and compliance in cloud environments
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud setups is a plus
  • Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills
