Job Overview

This mid-senior level role is ideal for an IT professional looking to expand their network support capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve complex voice faults related to SIP, RTP and PBX systems.
  • Manage customer and reseller service requests through a ticketing system.
  • Evaluate and escalate technical issues to upstream carriers when necessary.
  • Provide timely and accurate advice and resolution to customers.
  • Assist clients with moves and changes, ensuring seamless continuity.
  • Document processes and systems for team members' benefit.
  • Support the deployment of new voice solutions and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
  • At least 24 months of experience in VOIP (SIP and RTP) with a proven track record.
  • Proficiency in using protocol analyzers and interpreting results.
  • Moderate network knowledge and general telecommunications troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Open source SIP based PBX systems (Asterisk, Freeswitch, Kamailio, Kazoo).
  • Familiarity with VOIP Phones such as Grandstream, Yealink, Polycom.
  • Exposure to managed VOIP or network environments, including experience with building and deploying NetSapien, 3CX, PortaOne; SIP based PBX Systems and equipment.
