Network Operations Specialist

Staff4Me is looking for a dedicated Network Operations specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the first line of defense in maintaining the availability and performance of network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include monitoring network systems 24/7 using advanced network monitoring tools, identifying, logging, and escalating incidents in alignment with established policies and protocols, and performing basic troubleshooting of network issues.

  • Monitor network performance and availability using advanced network monitoring tools
  • Identify, log, and escalate incidents in alignment with established policies and protocols
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of network issues including connectivity, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing
  • Coordinate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Maintain detailed records of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is beneficial
  • Previous experience in a Network Operations Center or Help Desk environment is preferred but not mandatory
  • Fundamental understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routers, switches, and firewall
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to relay technical information clearly
