Job Overview:
A legal professional with expertise in conducting research, drafting documents, and managing files is sought after to fill a key position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on legal matters and prepare high-quality memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents
- Create and review contracts, agreements, and other correspondence in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Organize and manage digital and physical files, including contracts and case documentation
- E nsure timely compliance with filing deadlines and legal requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Coordinate and communicate with external counsel and regulatory bodies as needed
- Support the preparation of court documents, filings, and pleadings
- Maintain accurate records of correspondence and legal activity for reporting purposes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Management, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a legal role or similar position
- Familiarity with US, EU, AU, and/or UK legal systems and regulations
- Strong research and writing skills
- Excellent communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking
Key Skills:
- Proficient in legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and document management tools
- Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with strict deadlines
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Tech-savvy with knowledge of legal tech tools, cloud-based systems, and document automation software
