Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and organized Paralegal to support attorneys in various tasks, including evidence collection, document management, and communication with clients and witnesses.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, proficiency with legal software, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts for information gathering and updates.
  • Support real estate transactions by preparing relevant documents, such as contracts and pleadings.
  • Draft and review discovery documents in family law cases, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organize and manage evidence and legal documents for review and presentation.
  • Prepare, file, and serve legal documents, such as contracts and pleadings, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate schedules and share information among parties involved, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Maintain organized systems for document management, including record-keeping and tracking.
  • Assist with discovery by reviewing and producing documents, adhering to deadlines and court requirements.
  • Help prepare for trials by assembling exhibits and legal filings, working closely with attorneys and other stakeholders.
  • Attend virtual legal proceedings to support attorneys, if needed, and provide technical assistance.
  • Summarize depositions, transcripts, and exhibits, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Create charts, graphs, and summaries for case presentation, using data visualization techniques to illustrate key points.
  • File legal documents with courts and serve opposing counsel, following proper procedures and protocols.
  • Utilize legal software for document preparation and case tracking, staying up-to-date with new technologies and tools.
  • Record billable hours for invoicing, accurately tracking time spent on client matters.Requirements
    • Paralegal certification or legal studies degree, demonstrating a strong foundation in legal principles and practices.
    • Experience as a paralegal, preferably in a similar role or industry.
    • Proficiency with Windows OS devices, including familiarity with legal software and applications.
    • Familiarity with real estate document preparation, including contracts and pleadings.
    • Knowledge of discovery in family law cases, including document production and review.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, witnesses, and colleagues.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
    • Detail-oriented and analytical, with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Comfortable attending virtual legal proceedings, utilizing technology to facilitate remote work.
    • Ability to summarize complex information, distilling key points into clear and concise language.
