Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Manager to lead our accounting and finance operations across the group of companies.

This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can manage day-to-day details while driving process and system improvements as we scale.

  • Manage month-end close for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and file multi-state sales taxes, staying up-to-date with changing regulations.
  • Compute sales commissions and maintain their integrity.
  • Process payroll bi-monthly, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Issue timely financial statements and management reports, providing actionable insights.
  • Lead cashflow planning, forecasting, and reporting to leadership, making informed decisions.
  • Supervise AR/AP staff, fostering a productive team environment.
  • Maintain reconciliations, guaranteeing account accuracy.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and maintain company scorecard metrics, driving progress.
  • Oversee compliance filings, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Support lender and bank communications, building strong relationships.
  • Drive process improvement in NetSuite, enhancing operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Solid Controller/Accounting Manager experience (5+ years), with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, leveraging its capabilities to streamline operations.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-state sales/use tax, staying current with changes.
  • Experience supervising accounting staff, developing their skills and expertise.
  • Hands-on reconciliation and close process expertise, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Comfort managing multiple entities, adapting to changing circumstances.
