Staff Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Accounting Professional to supervise general accounting operations, control financial transactions, and provide analytical support to our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Review and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Analyze financial data, create reports on financial status, and present findings to senior management
  • Develop recommendations to optimize accounting systems and procedures
  • Support and consult with colleagues on accounting control procedures
  • Supervise accounting assistants and bookkeepers, plan their work, and assign tasks
  • Participate in forecasting and financial standards setting processes
  • Assist in departmental goal setting activities and month-end/year-end close processes
  • Prepare financial statements, budget documents, and tax returns

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, Chief, or Senior Accountant role
  • Proficiency in general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close process, and accounting software packages
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant certifications such as CMA or CPA
