We are seeking a skilled and experienced APAC HR Operations Specialist to support our expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and compliance. They will be responsible for managing HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and driving talent acquisition across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment processes and ensure headcount fulfillment for APAC.
- Oversee the setup and operations of the Manila office, including office administration.
- Provide HR support to employees, addressing queries related to policies, payroll, and labor compliance.
- Handle payroll processes and ensure compliance with local labor regulations.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes across different APAC locations.
- Support legal compliance, including employee visas, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Develop and implement HR policies tailored to the APAC region.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and HR projects to enhance workplace culture.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices in the APAC region.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with leadership and operations teams.
- Experience in structuring and optimizing HR processes.
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership presence to establish high standards in the Manila office.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving business goals.
- Proactive and problem-solving approach.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
- Data-driven mindset and familiarity with HR software.
- Proficiency in an APAC language (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Hindi).
- Background in the travel, hospitality, mobility, or e-commerce sector.
