Associate Research Manager

  • Attend clients' research needs independently with minimal supervision from a senior manager.
  • Recommend research projects/programs based on clients' informational needs/problems.
  • Prepare proposals and cost estimates for projects using innovative, customized research methodologies and business solutions.
  • Cost each study and establish operating budgets and timetables for each project phase.
  • Oversee proposals and cost estimates for projects delegated to junior team members.
  • Meet with clients or supervise junior team members' meetings with clients to discuss proposed project details.
  • Provide feedback to clients on project progress.
  • Ensure profit objectives for projects under responsibility.
  • Nurture close relationships with clients.

Project Management

  • Apply the most appropriate research methodology to meet client objectives.
  • Design questionnaires based on proposals.
  • Advise junior team members on suitable methodological designs.
  • Brief assigned staff on project nuances and provide directions.
  • Have command responsibility for implementing all assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in qualitative or quantitative research.
  • College degree in communication research, marketing, statistics, math, economics, psychology, sociology, mass communication, management, or related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques/tools is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Demonstrate intellectual and professional integrity.
  • Excellent networking skills and service orientation.
  • Innovative, adaptable, and flexible.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communicator, both written and oral.
  • Fast learner, good in numbers, and detail-oriented.
