Job Description

As a patient care coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional support to patients. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the front office workflow, guaranteeing that every interaction is welcoming and professional.

This is a fully remote position that requires a reliable and detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with patients and coordinate administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, enabling them to adapt to changing priorities and maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical record systems.

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and SMS patient inquiries in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-ups, and referrals in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process intake forms and maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems.
  • Verify insurance and coordinate with billing staff as needed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients by addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Support front desk workflow, including reminders, forms, and general inquiries, to ensure a smooth experience for patients and staff alike.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities is also necessary.

Preferred qualifications include 1+ year of experience in healthcare administration, receptionist, or virtual assistant roles. Familiarity with U.S. insurance verification workflows is preferred but not required.
