Job Summary">

As a Patient Engagement Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, setting the tone for their care journey. You will guide them through intake, build trust, and help them take the first step towards better health.

  • This position is designed as a pathway to promotion within 6-12 months to more senior roles such as team lead or customer success manager.

Key aspects of the job include:

Core Responsibilities:
  • Engage & Guide New Patients
    • Establish initial contact via calls, SMS, and email to initiate the patient onboarding process
    • Assist patients in completing intake forms, pre-consult assessments, and next steps
    • Provide empathetic, accurate, and energetic responses to questions
    • Ensure accurate and timely documentation
  • Build Trust & Personal Connection
    • Present a calm, confident, and supportive demeanor
    • Clearly explain timelines, processes, and next steps
    • Create a welcoming first impression that builds confidence in care
    • Serve as a bridge between patients and clinical teams
  • Coordinate Smoothly Behind the Scenes
    • Maintain up-to-date patient information in CRM and health tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, EMRs)
    • Identify and resolve issues in the pre-enrollment funnel before they become problems
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to efficiently move patients through each stage

Requirements include exceptional English communication skills (verbal + written) with a neutral accent preferred. Experience in healthcare coordination, patient intake, or support is necessary. A strong attention to detail and poise under pressure are essential qualities for this role.

Desired qualifications include background in telehealth, concierge medicine, or multi-provider practices; familiarity with HIPAA and secure messaging best practices; and comfort with digital tools such as spreadsheets, Slack, dashboards, and AI chat interfaces.
