Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of cooks and culinary staff to prepare, cook, and present high-quality food products according to established hotel standards.
- Train and supervise employees to ensure efficient kitchen operations, maintaining the highest level of quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and employee engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal resource allocation.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a reputable hospitality establishment.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Proven expertise in menu concept development, food product presentation, and preparation techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and train team members.
- Knowledgeable in food safety practices, HACCP / ISO22000 protocols, and occupational health and safety procedures.
