Business Development Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer relationship management.

Job Description:

The Business Development Professional will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new opportunities, and strengthening relationships with existing customers.

The successful candidate will conduct regular business reviews with key customers to assess their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their objectives. They will also identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue.

To succeed in this role, the Business Development Professional will need to stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify threats and opportunities.

They will prepare and present reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights to internal stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science-related field such as Pharmacy, Food Supplements, Chemistry Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Nutraceuticals ingredient industry.
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills to build long-lasting relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to identify challenges and propose innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and other relevant tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification or training in sales or customer relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel for customer visits.
