Management Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team.

About the Position

The successful candidate will report to a Client Relationship Manager (CRM) and form a client team to deliver top-quality services, including bookkeeping, accounting, and VAT returns.

This role is at the core of our services delivered to clients and requires strong analytical and numerical skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss accounts
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform balance sheet reconciliations and manage cash flow forecasting
  • VAT Compliance: Ensure compliance with UK VAT regulations and prepare quarterly returns
  • Bookkeeping Tasks: Manage bookkeeping tasks using Xero and Dext
Suitability/Traits
  • Precise: attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Analytical: strong analytical skills to examine facts and situations
  • Numerical: ability to count, calculate, and analyze quantities using mathematics
  • Organised: ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Clerical: experience with tasks such as typing, filing, and organizing information
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in management accounting or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of UK VAT regulations and procedures
  • Proficient in Xero and Dext accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Setup

This is a remote work position with a mid-shift schedule.
