Job Overview

The Process Specialist plays a vital role in the efficient management of freight and cargo operations. This position requires a deep understanding of processes and systems to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ETA Checking: Verify estimated times of arrival for shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Job Update: Ensure accurate and up-to-date information on shipment status.
  • Shipment Registration: Register new shipments and consolidate existing ones efficiently.
  • Order Track Report: Update order tracking reports to reflect current shipment status accurately.
  • Worksheet Sending: Send worksheets to relevant parties as required for smooth operations.
  • Transshipment Processing: Process transshipments efficiently, minimizing delays.
  • Commercial Document Monitoring: Monitor and chase commercial documents to ensure timely receipt and compliance.
  • Invoice Posting: Post invoices accurately and within specified deadlines for financial transparency.
  • Sea Cargo Automation Lodgment: Lodge sea cargo automation information as needed for streamlined operations.
  • Telex HBL/MBL Uploading: Upload Telex HBL/MBL documents promptly for secure record-keeping.
  • Arrival Notice Sending: Send arrival notices to relevant parties for informed decision-making.
  • LCL Manifest Sending: Send LCL manifests to customers and other stakeholders for transparency.
  • Organization Creation: Create new organizations within the system for efficient data management.
  • E-doc Creation: Prepare and send e-docs as required for reduced paperwork and increased efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in Customs Administration or related field with strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Incoterms with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with CargoWise or similar systems with strong technical skills.
  • Related work experience in freight/brokerage firms with a focus on data entry and customer service.
  • Primary duty is data entry within Service Level Agreements (SLA) with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills in email, chat, and online meetings with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and handling freight documents with high organizational skills.
