Job Summary:

The Property Accountant plays a pivotal role in managing and supporting the financial operations of various properties.

  • Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Manage accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) efficiently.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external use.
  • Handle investor reporting, providing detailed and clear financial information.
  • Utilize industry-leading software for property accounting tasks and data management.
  • Work collaboratively with the in-house CPA team to ensure high-quality accounting services.
  • Report to stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.
  • Assist in other property accounting duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
  • Proven experience as a Property Accountant.
  • Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with using industry-standard software is highly recommended.
  • Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
