Network Security Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity unit, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers' networks from cyber threats.


Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, or remote desktop
  • Solving complex technical problems and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Learning and utilizing advanced software tools and strategies to resolve customer issues
  • Handling escalated calls and customer complaints with professionalism and poise

Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT security concepts, including antivirus, networking, and encryption technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence in customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to excellence
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Linux, Unix, DNS, Networking, and other relevant technologies
  • Understanding of network protocols, such as HTTP, SMTP, FTP, SMB, DNS, and DHCP

Desirable Skills:

Prior experience in a similar role or related field is an asset. Familiarity with industry-leading technologies and certifications, such as CCNA or CompTIA Security+, can also be beneficial.
