Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct end-to-end technical site surveys for telecom infrastructure (greenfield, rooftop, IBS, and transmission sites).
  • Perform and validate Line-of-Sight (LOS) surveys for microwave links and ensure feasibility of the RF design.
  • Collect, analyze, and verify technical parameters, including site dimensions, antenna placements, power availability, and environmental conditions.
  • Prepare detailed technical survey reports, including AutoCAD drawings, photographs, and equipment layouts.
  • Ensure surveys comply with Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, and client-specific implementation standards.
  • Provide technical recommendations on site feasibility, equipment installation, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Coordinate with project teams, design engineers, and vendors to ensure survey accuracy and alignment with project designs.
  • Support site acquisition teams with technical inputs for lease negotiations and approvals.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to validate survey data before handing it over to implementation teams.
  • Maintain proper documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of survey methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience as a Survey Engineer or Technical Survey Engineer in telecom projects with Ericsson, Nokia, and Huawei equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of RF principles, wireless technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G), and microwave transmission.
  • Proficiency in survey tools and software (GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD, GIS, Pathloss, or similar).
  • Ability to interpret site drawings, structural designs, and telecom equipment layouts.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and technical reporting skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work in diverse site conditions.
