Job Description

A mortgage loan processor is a key role in supporting brokers to achieve settlement targets, managing data entry into software systems and preparing compliance documentation for proposed loans.

The mortgage loan processor will be responsible for lodging new applications with lenders, following through to approval and settlement, communicating with clients and keeping them updated on progress, organising valuations with lenders and booking settlements with clients, solicitors and lenders. They will also ensure that settled files are compliant and keep application trackers within the CRM up to date. Additionally, they will keep track of commission payments and manage diaries and emails.

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in Australian loan processing is required.
  • Experience with Australian mortgage CRM systems and aggregator platforms is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are crucial for interacting with clients, brokers and other parties.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, loan processing software and potentially banking computer software is essential.
  • Meticulousness in reviewing documents and ensuring accuracy is vital.
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service is critical.
  • Effective time management skills are needed to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
