As a Litigation Attorney, you will play a vital role in overseeing legal compliance and governance within a corporation. Your expertise will be essential in representing the organization in litigation, administrative conferences, and other proceedings.

About this Role

This position involves managing various legal-related compliances for the organization, including government-mandated issuances and promulgations. You will also represent the organization in cases such as civil, criminal, and labor cases, negotiate contracts with third-party business partners, suppliers, vendors, agencies, and others, provide legal advice to corporate inquiries and activities requiring review and assistance, and track and monitor various anticipated and ongoing litigation matters.

Responsibilities
  • Manage legal-related compliances for the organization, ensuring adherence to government regulations and laws.
  • Represent the organization in court proceedings, using your expertise to protect the company's interests.
  • Negotiate, draft, and review contracts with external parties, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Provide expert legal advice to corporate inquiries, helping to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor and track litigation matters, ensuring timely resolutions and minimizing disruptions to business operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Laws, Juris Doctor, or equivalent degree is required.
  • Prior experience in a similar role with Law/Legal services specialization is highly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of legal experience practicing law, preferably with knowledge in legislation and regulation of corporations.
  • Strong organizational, research, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and representation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications is a plus.
