Senior Manager, Legal - Investment Management Robert Walters Negotiable On-site - Makati | 3-5 Yrs Exp | Bachelor | Full-time Share Job Description Description Our client is seeking a proactive and meticulous Senior Legal Counsel to join their Legal and Compliance team in BGC, Taguig.

This role requires deep expertise in Philippine securities law and the ability to deliver high-quality legal support across the firm's operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with regional legal colleagues and the finance team to ensure regulatory compliance, provide strategic counsel for mergers and acquisitions, and support the firm's broader business objectives. What

You'll Do Act as the firm's liaison with regulatory bodies, managing filings, submissions, and compliance obligations. Coordinate with external counsel for transactional support or dispute resolution.

Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Design and implement compliance policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

Ensure compliance with Philippine securities laws and relevant regulations in other jurisdictions. Offer legal guidance on corporate governance, regulatory matters, and contract management. Provide compliance advice on transactions involving Philippine entities or jurisdictions.

Serve as the primary expert on Philippine laws, keeping the regional legal team informed of local regulatory updates. Maintain accurate corporate records and ensure adherence to governance standards under Philippine law. What

You Bring Admission to the Philippine Bar with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree from a reputable institution. At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in investment management, wealth management, venture capital, or private equity. Deep knowledge of Philippine securities law, including incorporation processes (BIR and SEC).

Proven experience in corporate housekeeping and cross-border mergers & acquisitions (M&A). Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills. Excellent legal research skills and experience in drafting and negotiation.
