At Global Finance Teams, we are seeking a highly skilled US Senior Accounting Professional to play a critical role in helping us take local finance professionals to the global stage. This position involves working closely with our clients in the US technology space, utilizing technical expertise and leadership potential to solve complex challenges.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality financial reports, working independently while maintaining integrity and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to ASC 606 and experience working with QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Credit Card transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform end-to-end General Ledger Accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Partner with the Finance Controller for ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Design and roll out processes for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports for senior leadership, clearly communicating key findings and trends.
  • Lead projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation, showcasing expertise and creativity.
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Participate in software implementations, process upgrades, and cross-training initiatives, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Take ownership of special projects, ad hoc reports, and general accounting duties as needed, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, possessing a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience, including at least 2 years working with US clients.
  • Strong exposure to ASC 606, with experience in implementing and managing related processes.
  • QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Credit Card transaction experience, with a focus on automation and optimization.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
