Financial Operations Specialist

Our company is looking for a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bookkeeping, financial analysis, and forecasting.
Job Responsibilities:The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing monthly P&L statements, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Manage comprehensive bookkeeping for a fast-growing eCommerce health and personal care products company
- Handle multi-channel online sales accounting across platforms (Amazon, Shopify, direct-to-consumer)
- Prepare monthly financial statements and provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Lead monthly audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify improvement opportunities
To be successful in this role, the Financial Operations Specialist must have:
- 3-5 years of proven bookkeeping experience with a strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Prior eCommerce client experience - experience working with online retail businesses is essential
- Solid grasp of inventory accounting, amortization, and cost recognition methodologies
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data into actionable business insights
- High attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy in all financial work
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred, as well as knowledge of Amazon FBA accounting and multi-channel eCommerce operations.
