Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Global Finance Teams. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

This is a key leadership position that requires a professional with a strong background in accounting, controllership, and technical research. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and providing excellent support to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform end-to-end General Ledger Accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Partner with the Finance Controller for ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting
  • Design and roll out a process for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350
  • Prepare and present financial reports for senior leadership
  • Lead projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Participate in software implementations, process upgrades, and cross-training initiatives to stay up-to-date on industry best practices
Requirements:
  • CPA with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience, preferably in a Big 4 audit or multinational company environment
  • At least 2 years working with U.S. clients (insurance and tech company experience is a plus)
  • Strong exposure to ASC 606 and QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Credit Card transaction systems
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills to work independently and as part of a team
