Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management on a weekly basis or as required.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in accordance with company policies.
  • Process payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, superannuation, and entitlements.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax and employment laws.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in data entry, administration, and general accounting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and any accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working with secure financial record systems, and an awareness of maintaining strong cyber security protocols.
  • A diploma in Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience is a plus.
