Collections and Service Excellence

We're looking for a highly motivated Collections Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for negotiating and servicing accounts, providing excellent customer service, and maximizing recovery of arrears.

  • Negotiate and service high-volume outbound calls to collect on portfolio accounts.
  • Maintain outstanding customer service, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and minimizing complaints and escalations.
  • Provide accurate and well-informed information and advice to customers on all products, services, and accounts.
  • Make sound decisions and recommendations based on thorough assessments of customer's ability and willingness to pay, considering all legislative, policy, and procedural guidelines.
  • Implement the most effective course of action for resolution of delinquency or irregular accounts in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of actions, events, and account maintenance of the collections and servicing systems, ensuring customer confidentiality at all times.
  • Initiate follow-up on all accounts to ensure payment plans are fulfilled.
  • Comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements, including staying up-to-date with training and testing.
Requirements
  • Excellent time management and self-motivation skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to negotiate, be patient, persevere, and show empathy to our customers.
  • Experience in a collections or customer service or sales call center environment.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn all regulatory/legislative acts and apply them.
