Artificial Intelligence Expert

This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-growth firm committed to innovation, collaboration, and what's next. As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions that meet the firm's tax, auditing, and advisory needs.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand requirements and transform them into AI-driven solutions that improve workflows and optimize processes. This role requires hands-on expertise in AI solution architecture and development, with a focus on building robust, scalable, and secure systems.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Architecture: Design and architect end-to-end AI/ML solutions, aligning with business objectives and scalability requirements; define overall architecture and data pipelines; select appropriate AI tools and frameworks; ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of AI systems.
• Development & Deployment: Build, test, and deploy AI and machine learning models on Azure platforms (Azure ML, Cognitive Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse) or other leading solutions; develop APIs and integration points for data exchange with internal systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Power BI); implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automated testing for reliable deployment and monitoring.
• Cloud Infrastructure & MLOps: Establish MLOps practices for CI/CD and monitoring; optimize model performance for scalability and low latency; apply infrastructure-as-code principles to enhance reliability and scalability.
• Collaboration & Consultation: Work with tax, audit, and advisory teams to identify AI use cases; translate domain requirements into technical specifications; provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Research & Continuous Improvement: Stay current with AI advancements; experiment with new techniques and tools; develop proofs of concept (POCs) for innovative AI solutions; maintain comprehensive documentation for models and data pipelines; ensure compliance with data privacy, security policies, and ethical AI guidelines; provide training and support to developers and end-users.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in AI architecture, design, and deployment with Microsoft Azure Cloud Technologies (Azure ML, Cognitive Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Kubernetes Service) or similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, R, or JavaScript; strong understanding of ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) and integrating AI models with these tools.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automated testing.
• Knowledge of data architecture, databases, and data lakes (SQL, NoSQL, Azure Synapse, etc.).
• Knowledge and experience with vector databases or knowledge bases for retrieval-augmented generation; prompt engineering and fine-tuning large models.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; strong communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; collaboration and proactive mindset.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or similar; prior AI experience; experience with UiPath or Blue Prism; experience in the Accounting Technology Industry; Azure certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate); experience with LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
