Mortgage Broker Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Broker Assistant to join our team. This role will provide exceptional administrative support to the Mortgage Brokers and their applications, ensuring seamless operations and success in every endeavor.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years Australian experience supporting a mortgage broker or banking/lending industry, with a strong understanding of data privacy, the Australian Best Interest Duty, and Responsible Lending legislation. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a cohesive and high-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Broker throughout the loan application process.
  • Assisting the brokers at all stages of the loan process, from first contact through to settlement.
  • Providing high-level executive and administrative support to the Mortgage Brokers and their applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years Australian experience supporting a mortgage broker or banking/lending industry.
  • Experience with Aggregator CRM software and Applyonline/Simpology (LoanApp) lodgment systems.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy, the Australian Best Interest Duty, and Responsible Lending legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a cohesive and high-paced environment.
