Job Title: Mortgage Loan Specialist

Job Description

A mortgage loan specialist plays a crucial role in supporting brokers to achieve settlement targets. They manage data entry into various systems, prepare compliance documentation for proposed loans, and communicate with clients throughout the process.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Australian loan processing and be proficient in MS Office Suite and loan processing software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with clients, brokers, and other parties. The ability to provide excellent customer service and effective time management skills are also vital.

Responsibilities:

  • Lodging new applications with lenders and following through to approval & settlement
  • Communication with clients regarding progress updates
  • Organising valuations with lenders
  • Booking and organising settlements with clients, solicitors, and lenders
  • Ensuring all settled files are compliant
  • Updating the application tracker within the CRM
  • Tracking commission payments
  • Diary and email management
  • Supporting brokers to achieve settlement targets
  • Data entry into SalesTrekker / Apply Online / Loanapp / Flex
  • Preparing Compliance Documentation for proposed loans

Requirements:

  • Stable internet connection with at least 50MBPS or more is required
  • Own computer is necessary

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Australian loan processing is required.
  • Experience with Australian mortgage CRM systems and aggregator platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are crucial.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, loan processing software, and potentially banking computer software is necessary.
  • Meticulousness in reviewing documents and ensuring accuracy is essential.
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service is vital.
  • Effective time management skills are needed to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
