Mortgage professionals with a knack for strategy and analytical skills are invited to join our team in an exciting role as Mortgage Support Specialist. As a full-time remote employee, you will be hired by the client as a strategic support partner, providing evidence, data, and research to enable efficient delivery of advisory work.

The ideal candidate will possess mortgage industry knowledge, particularly in the Australian market, along with credit assessment proficiency, financial analysis skills, and regulatory compliance. They will also have expertise in technical tools such as Quickli platform mastery, Broker Engine proficiency, and advanced Excel/Sheets skills. Strong communication and presentation capabilities are essential, as well as the ability to maintain professional client communication and collaborate effectively with cross-team members.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic support to debt advisory strategists by preparing evidence, data, and research before engagement.
  • Set up Quickli workflows, prepare broker handovers, and analyze financial statements & tax returns.
  • Research market trends and regulatory changes; compile weekly intelligence and reports; coordinate valuations with lenders.
  • Manage timelines, follow-up on disputes and reorders, and provide clear summaries and presentation materials from templates.
  • Support cross-team collaboration and maintain a reference database for future use.
Requirements:
  • Mortgage industry knowledge – rates, products, lending criteria for the Australian market.
  • Credit assessment proficiency – reports, scoring, serviceability calculations.
  • Financial analysis skills – statements, tax returns, complex income structures.
  • Regulatory compliance – NCCP, responsible lending, and related standards.
  • Technical: Quickli platform mastery; Broker Engine proficiency; advanced Excel/Sheets; strong research methodology.
  • Communication: professional written communication; cross-team collaboration; presentation capabilities.
