Revenue Generation Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Commercial Portfolio Manager to join our team and drive the commercial growth of our Wealth and Financial Advice event portfolio.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong commercial acumen, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive sales growth.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing client relationships to drive sales growth.
You will work closely with our content, marketing, and operations teams to achieve business objectives and collaborate with other FT Specialist departments to expand our multimedia partnerships.
About the RoleThe Commercial Portfolio Manager will have five years' experience in B2B event sponsorship sales, including two years of leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing event revenues year-on-year, while encouraging a culture of team success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the commercial delivery of the Wealth and Financial Advice event portfolio
- Responsible for all stages of the commercial cycle, from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and agreement
- Accountable for all revenues under the Wealth and Financial Advice brands, plus FT Specialist's awards portfolio
- Managing both personal and team sales pipelines to drive high deal conversion rates
- Detailed market mapping to improve commercial opportunities across target sectors
To be considered for this role, you must have a strong commercial background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive sales growth.
A degree-level education and proficiency in CRM system management - Salesforce - are also essential requirements.
