Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished finance expert to oversee our accounting operations, prepare financial statements, and analyze data. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fund administration, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing general ledgers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company's general ledger, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, identify trends, and prepare reports summarizing the financial position of the company.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Coordinate budgeting processes and forecasts and assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Ensure tax compliance, including preparation and filing of tax returns for review by external advisors.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting best practices and statutory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum seven years post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent English communication skills (speaking, writing, comprehension).
  • Experience in fund administration is essential, preferably within financial services or fund management companies.
  • University degree with a high average score; transcript required.
