Job Overview

This role encompasses the strategic direction and oversight of an organization's financial management and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and regulatory compliance across multiple projects and entities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of financial management and allocation of funds for various projects, ensuring compliance with donor agreements and internal financial policies.
  • Maintenance of regulatory compliance across all entities, including ACFID, ACNC, and local laws.
  • Leadership of governance, transparency, and reporting for a social business fund.
  • Management of bookkeeping, including transaction recording, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.
  • Comprehensive management of a social business fund, including loan processing, monitoring repayments, and scheduling.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial management, accounting, or similar roles.
  • Prior experience working with NGOs, social enterprises, or donor-funded projects is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
