Lead Financial Strategist

The ideal candidate will drive clarity, discipline, and scalable systems within the organization. This leader is responsible for inspiring, mentoring, and leading teams to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This individual will take full ownership of the finance function, streamlining monthly close and cash forecasting. They will deliver actionable performance insights that guide smarter, faster decisions. The Lead Financial Strategist will transform finance into a proactive engine for scale, ensuring clean, audit-ready reporting, optimized cash management, and trusted financial visibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver accurate, insightful monthly financials with zero material errors.
  • Manage a weekly-updated, 12-month rolling cash forecast to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
  • Plan and lead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, aligning department budgets with growth targets.
  • Build scalable financial systems and operational workflows, documenting core finance processes and implementing streamlined systems for expense approvals, reimbursements, and travel booking.
  • Drive profit optimization across departments, delivering monthly EBITDA analysis and partnering with leaders to implement impactful initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA/CPA strongly preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success building scalable finance systems and strategic reporting processes.
