
Expert Technical Support Professional

The role of the Advanced Technical Support Specialist involves providing top-tier technical assistance and troubleshooting for a wide range of IT-related issues, including hardware and software problems, network setup, and infrastructure maintenance.
This is an advanced technical support position that requires experience in managing help desk tickets, ensuring timely and effective communication with customers, and acting as a level 3 escalation point. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot complex IT-related issues, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, vendors, applications, Wi-Fi, and more.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues or implement new solutions.
- Set up networks during client onboarding or a la carte projects.
- Work with the NOC team to attend to infrastructure issues.
- Document and improve department processes.
- 7+ years of IT experience, preferably in desktop support, systems engineering, or systems administration.
- Helpdesk MSP experience.
- Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools.
- End user support and desktop support skills, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktop and mobile device troubleshooting, deployment, and MDM.
- Support of cloud products, such as Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, and Google.
- Systems administration skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, Group Policy, Basic Exchange Server, and Basic SQL Server.
- Support of BDR products, including Veeam, Azure, and Local NAS.
- Support of cybersecurity products, including Barracuda, Webroot, Ironscales, Axcient, and Spanning.
- Basic understanding and support of storage and virtualization platforms, including NAS OS, Dell Equallogic, Hyper-V, VMware.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN, DMZ, WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching, VPN, and Firewalls.
