Job Overview

The Construction Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in defining the scope of work for project management teams and controlling construction costs.

This position requires gathering and organizing project information, identifying missing or conflicting scope details, and performing quantity takeoffs for commercial construction projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Gather and organize project information
  • Identify missing or conflicting scope details
  • Perform quantity takeoffs using On Screen Takeoff or Bluebeam software
  • Assist with construction document/plan/spec review, redlining, and requests for information
  • Estimate components of the scope of work using Microsoft Excel
  • Built rapport and maintain open communication with the project management team
  • Work with the team to review and finalize takeoff
Qualifications
  • Degree in construction, engineering, business management/finance/accounting or similar fields preferred
  • Knowledge of construction, components of construction, and how these components are constructed
  • Commercial construction experience across multiple trades preferred
  • Experience working with U.S-based clients is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, electronic takeoff software, and ability to create data into spreadsheets
