Job Overview

A Construction Project Manager oversees the planning, execution and delivery of construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely project completion by coordinating all stages of development.
  • Coordinate pre-construction activities, bid preparation and project timelines for successful outcomes.
  • Track project progress, milestones and budgets addressing risks and issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage subcontractors, laborers and materials ensuring timely progress and meeting project objectives.
  • Monitor and report on project status resolving delays or issues effectively.
  • Manage project schedules, scope and inspections required by authorities ensuring compliance.
  • Utilize project management software for task management and reporting enhancing productivity and effectiveness.
  • Maintain documentation and facilitate communication among stakeholders ensuring clear understanding of project requirements and progress.
  • Handle financial aspects such as estimating, change orders and project closeout ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Requirements:
  • 4 to 6 years of construction or project management experience or equivalent education.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience in residential construction particularly townhouses, single-family homes and small apartments.
  • Effective communication skills with subcontractors, vendors and government agencies.
  • Ability to prepare and track project timelines and budgets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • A team player willing to work in a fast-paced growing organization.
Ideal Candidate Skills & Experience:
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and civil plans.
  • Experience with construction estimating and takeoffs.
