Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Church Partnership Development Specialist to foster strong relationships between our organization and local churches. This role will involve promoting awareness about children's needs, prioritizing child protection, and reporting concerns of abuse or neglect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote awareness about children's needs and prioritize child protection in all interactions with church partners.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to serving, respecting, and empowering the church by providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with church partners to strengthen their capacity through developmental approaches, including identifying needs and applying solutions.
  • Mobilize local resources and facilitate sharing among churches to ensure effective collaboration and mutual support.
  • Support church partners throughout all phases of the Program Cycle: Needs Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in community development or partnership management, preferably in WASH, Education, and Livelihood projects.
  • Strong financial management skills, report writing ability, and impact assessment expertise.
  • Excellent facilitation and liaising skills, with the ability to develop networks and mobilize resources.
  • Active membership in a local church and passion for serving children and churches.
