Job Title: Community Development Liaison

We are seeking a skilled Community Development Liaison to strengthen local ownership, capacity, and resources of church partners.

  • This role involves nurturing relationships characterized by mutual respect, trust, and service, facilitating partner relationships through the Partner Management core process, improving church outcomes, and adopting a developmental mindset.

The ideal candidate will have experience in program cycle management for WASH, Education, and Livelihood projects, proficiency in report writing and impact assessment, and excellent facilitation skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Promote awareness about children's needs and prioritize child protection.
  2. Demonstrate commitment to serving and empowering churches.
  3. Strengthen church ownership and capacity through developmental approaches.
  4. Facilitate reflection and planning with church partners to grow in capacity and maturity.
  5. Support church strategies to engage parents, caregivers, children, and youth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years in community development or partnership management.
  • Experience in financial management, facilitation, and liaising.
  • Ability to develop networks and mobilize resources.
