Job Description:

As a Service Line Talent Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting Global Assurance Talent priorities and delivering strategic Talent consulting services to the business globally.

You will collaborate with the Global SL Talent Leader and Directors to run the SL Talent team, manage key business interactions, and contribute to leadership meetings by developing content, reference materials, and tracking actions as required.

This role works closely with Talent colleagues to support Talent processes such as succession planning, employee listening initiatives, and reporting (e.g., workforce planning, headcount).

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute operationally to the SL Talent team's successful operation by working closely with the Global SL Talent Leader and Directors.
  • Prioritize and address requirements, issues, and actions raised by senior business leaders with the Global SL Talent team or wider Talent ecosystem.
  • Prepare presentations and reports to support effective engagement with business leadership.
  • Help build out Talent Consulting capability across the team; attend cross-SL meetings to identify common needs and drive appropriate outcomes.
  • Ensure availability of quality Talent reporting (e.g., SL headcount, workforce planning, DAP hiring, D&I); develop and maintain reports and highlight points of interest with recommendations to influence Talent priorities (in collaboration with PDRA).
  • Conduct research on emerging trends/issues and present highlights to leadership as directed by SL Talent Leaders.
  • Assess Talent-related SL/business performance issues and coordinate with the appropriate Talent functions to consider solutions and raise change investment requests as needed.
  • Respond to complex Talent queries, provide analysis and guidance leveraging experience across the Talent ecosystem.
  • Support delivery of key Talent processes and provide project coordination for the Global Talent team.
  • Due to the global nature of the role, travel and willingness to work alternative hours will be required.


Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities
  • Awareness of business strategy and performance trends.
  • Leverage internal data to prepare reports or presentations for the Global SL Talent Leader or leadership; ensure data can be presented effectively.
  • Ensure availability of regular reports with Talent and HR colleagues; analyze and maintain reporting.
  • Analyze business issues related to Talent/workforce, assess root causes, and propose solutions.
  • Partner with Talent teams to ensure effective operation of the SL Talent team.


Supervision Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate initiatives as directed with SL Talent leaders.
  • Provide input as an SMR for the Service Line and contribute to design, development, and deployment of Talent solutions where required.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across EY practices/departments to enable personal effectiveness in the role.
