Logistics Coordinator Job

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation logistics and ensure timely deliveries. This role involves coordinating with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders to optimize routes and meet customer requirements.

  • Schedule and dispatch trucks for deliveries based on route optimization and customer needs.
  • Monitor shipment progress and provide real-time updates to clients and drivers.
  • Maintain communication with drivers to resolve issues during transit.
  • Coordinate load assignments and track delivery status to ensure on-time service.
  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve scheduling or delivery-related issues.
  • Utilize dispatching software and tracking systems to maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies regarding transportation and safety.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, or fleet management.
  • Strong understanding of transportation routes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in dispatch software and technology.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
