Freight Operations Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Freight Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing customer shipments from PO raised to delivery.

You will work collaboratively with Customer Success Managers, Sales, Pricing and Procurement to ensure that all shipments move efficiently and exceptions are handled appropriately.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as a minimum of 3 years experience in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer shipments from PO raised to delivery
  • Work collaboratively with Customer Success Managers, Sales, Pricing and Procurement
  • Ensure that all shipments move efficiently and exceptions are handled appropriately
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Able to react quickly whilst maintaining focus and attention to detail
  • Embracing change management - short/ medium and long term
  • Experience with ERP/ Microsoft Excel, PP + Word
