Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance to customers via phone and email, perform on-site troubleshooting and repairs, and evaluate malfunctioning instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone and email.
  • Perform on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs.
  • Evaluate malfunctioning instruments and prepare estimates for the cost of repair.
  • Sell maintenance contracts to customers and create Service Contract Quotations in the CRM.
  • Perform factory calibrations (ISO 17025, if required).
  • Provide on-site training to customers.
  • Complete administrative tasks associated with the CRM Service module.
  • Take responsibility for personal warehouse/stock.
  • Forward sales opportunities to Sales Representatives when instruments need to be replaced.
Requirements:
  • Good communication skills and strong customer service skills are essential for this role.
  • Direct experience in the analytical instruments field is a plus.
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual who can complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electric or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or another technical discipline is required.
  • The ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and tools for repairs is necessary.
  • PREFERRED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE AT LEAST THREE YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN TROUBLESHOOTING, REPAIRING AND MAINTAINING COMPLEX ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENTS.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and passport.
