Senior Account Management Role

SUMMARY: Lead and manage a team of accountants and bookkeepers to achieve departmental goals. Ensure accurate financial reporting, provide strategic financial insights, and oversee client accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants and bookkeepers to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Evaluate compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Analyze and prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for management and clients.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with senior management to resolve financial inquiries and provide strategic insights.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
  • At least 5 years experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant accounting practices.
  • Strong understanding of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
